Before you read this section, it’s imperative you’ve already checked out Network Views and Processes. Process Views are, in every way, an extension of Network Views.

Background

Recall that Processes are just sections of your Network that you’re running over and over; the structure remains the same, only parameters change from run to run. Rather than having dozens of identical branches, you can just can just create on process that “stacks” all runs beneath one structure.

In Practice

Therefore, when you add one of these Process steps to a view you’re adding both it and all the iterations of it from each run of the Process.

The implications of this are simple. For example, if you add a Process step that’s been run 8 times, your View table will reflect 8 rows of this step, each with their own parameters.

Walkthorugh

This walkthrough demonstrates what it looks like when you add a Process step to a view. What’s being demonstrated here is mechanically identical to what you see in our walkthroughs of Network Views. The only difference is that this demonstration shows you what Process steps look like in the View table.
